My name is Betty….

Welcome to my world via my blog.

My world is very simple these days. I am so blessed and fortunate to be married to a wonderful and caring man. I am a mother and grandmother too.

I’m a happy soul with a healthy imagination and a daydreamer. I believe I have a heart of a gypsy because I like trying new things all the time. I enjoy making all kinds of crafts, reading good books, decorating my home and cooking yummy, delicious creative meals when I can.

I also love watching old romantic Bollywood movies like:

Veer-Zaar, Kahbi Alvida Naa Kehna, Devdas, Biwi No. 1, Shakti and so many more. 

Plus any of the newest Romantic Hindi/ East Indian Serials that are on these days. 

But I am so missing my favorite recently ended shows like: Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Kalash, Mein Teri Parchhain Hoon, Hello Pratibha, Tumhari Paakhi, Gustakh Dil, Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera, Numm, Bairi Piya, Geet, (Part one of) Doli Armaano Ki (with the old cast) and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (with Shlok & Astha) and the first half of Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, the story of Amma, Jodha Akbar, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon #3, Ye Hai Mohabbatein, Silsila, Kullfi Kumar, Parichay, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain, Patilia Babes 1, Shani, Aapke Aa Jaane Se, Daastan E Mohabbat (with Saleem & Anarkali), Jackson Heights and so many more.

I love, love, love all kinds of Indian foods especially sweet delicious Jelebi is one of my favorites.

I purchased a few beautiful Indian sarees to wear and think its fun when I put one on. I one day would love to visit India. That would be so amazing.

I love odd colors like purple and lavender. I love dressing up and looking pretty a lot and wearing beautiful clothes and of course shopping. So that’s me.  I recently moved from New York and now reside in the south and so enjoying while getting accustomed to living in the country, so I am learning the southern way of speaking.
