~Why I Love To Surround Myself In Art~

~~~
I feel that surrounding our home with some of the most beautiful things helps create happiness in our lives. I in particular believe that having art on display in various places in our home helps to bring beauty to the surroundings and joy into our lives. I appreciate the works of famous artists like Gustav Klimt, Vincent van Gogh, Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, and Edvard Munch.
I also love having inspirational quotes in frames or on canvases on the walls, bookshelves, and in various other places throughout our home by various writers one of which is the many works of Dr. Maya Angelou, and one of her poems I love the most is called Phenomenal Woman.
So among all the others here are just three well known famous art pieces I recently purchased in the form of diamond paintings that I plan to have hanging on my walls once I’ve completed making them.
1. The Kiss and Danae paintings by the Austrian symbolist painter Gustav Klimt. (The Kiss is dated between around 1907-1908. And Danae is an oil painting dated around 1907.)
2. The Starry Night by the Dutch Post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh dated in 1889.
And although I don’t have the next three paintings I do enjoy them.
1. The Birth of Venus Painting by the Italian artist Sandro Botticelli dated in the mid-1480s. (Venus has been known as the Roman goddess of sex, love, beauty, and fertility)
2. The Last Supper a mural painting by the Italian High Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci, dated around 1495-1498.
3. The Scream painting by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch dated 1893. (This agonizing face symbolizes the anxiety of the human condition.)
