Outside our windows…
Is a hint of spring. The grass is growing up and the trees are budding as we’ve been getting temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s but at night it still gets really cold though.
I’ve been reading from the book “A Nature Poem For Everyday Of The Year” edited by Jane McMorland Hunter. Which is a joy to read. And so I have been doing so very slowly, taking in and enjoying each page, like vitamins… one a day.
For the yard…
I am envisioning beautiful flowers in the backyard to be planted in a few places because colorful prettiness is what I’d like to see and enjoy.
Our delicious meals…
And for this weekend my husband got busy and cleaned up the outdoor grill so we can have some delicious food. I thought to grill up lamb chops and a bunch of jerk barbecue chicken wings and legs with lots of veggies on the side, buttery crusty bread and potato salad. And we love and have been drinking lots of green smoothies all weekend long too… bottoms up!
It’s amazing what a difference de-cluttering can make in a home for just two main rooms, like the kitchen and the living room. It’s a process you know letting things go. And so the kitchen is starting to look and feel so much better as things have been cleared off the countertops. I adore the neatness of it all and recently we made new purchases at reasonable prices for the kitchen. Just replacing those old ratty-looking pots, pans and cookie sheets with beautiful new non-stick ones in bright and beautiful colors does wonders in a kitchen along with a few bright and new dishes. So it is looking so very lovely in my kitchen and living room now.
~ Enjoy The Rest Of Your Weekend Everyone~
Sending lots of love….
