A Banana Milk Shake Recipe

It’s been a full year since my husband and I gave up straight up white sugar. We don’t put it in our coffee or tea or food if we can help it. We switched over to agave and date syrup. And I have to say they both taste so much sweeter and better than white sugar and you don’t have to use as much.

I used to love buying frothy milkshakes from the stores but now since I quit white sugar I’ve had to start making them for myself at home. And so today I had a really bad sweet tooth and I wanted a tall frothy glass of a banana milkshake after dinner and so I fixed myself one in my bullet and it was so delicious and I prefer and love it to be made with horizon organic milk.

Banana Milk Shake Recipe

Ingredients:

1 peeled and ripe banana (you can freeze the banana or not)

1 or 2 tablespoons of Agave Syrup

2 cups of iced cold Horizon Organic Whole Milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pinch of cinnamon

Directions:

Put all ingredients in the bullet or a blender and blend for at least 30 seconds to 1 minute. Pour into a tall glass and serve.
