Glitter Faeries Stopped By…

~~~
Over the past few weeks, we have an unwanted visitor, a stray dog who’s been running around going from place to place as if she owns the place. And now I have a beef with her because she killed one of my favorite cats. This cat was up there with one of the most beautiful cats we ever had besides the cat of many colors that someone stole away from us last year. It’s kinda hard to manage and keep them as safe as we would like to when all the cats and dogs live outdoors all the time. We never bring them in the house and so I am ok with them all being outdoors all the time because I always can look out the window and watch the cats frolicking and playing and they love sitting in our window sills and standing up looking inside our screen doors when I have the doors open during the day to bring in sunlight. I wish there was more that we could do as far as protecting them from attacks.
Well, this recently departed cat had an extremely fuzzy furry light gray coat and she had the cutest eyes and pretty eyelashes. So I was so upset that this dog has come here and taken one of our cats away.
It seems no matter how much we try we cannot seem to run her off as we were trying some of everything over the past few days and nothing seems to work. We even had one of our yard guys shoot his pistol up in the air and it seemed to work at first because the stray ran off but later that day my husband and I saw her near the highway making her way back towards our area. I guess it’s true that a dog can find it’s way back thru smell. Well, I wish she would smell her self back to where she originally came from. Anyway, so she parades up and down and across the fields and is always sitting on our porch as if she owns the place now. And then I noticed we were getting gnats inside the house and they were hanging around the screen doors trying to get in. I figured this stray must be bringing them so I took the outdoor broom and swept off the porch then got some really hot water with ammonia in a small bucket and poured it all over the porch to clean it off and to run off the gnats and the odor that stray dog has left behind.
So by noon the porch was bone dry and looking so much shinier, cleaner and smelled fresher and so it looked as if some glitter fairies stopped by. (Smile) But the truth is that I had our handyman paint the porches and the driveway beige and then sprinkle them with glitter. I know that sounds crazy but I absolutely love it.
I love and adore everything that has to do with fantasy stories, books, and art about fairies and mermaids. They are so cute, irresistible and magical. And so I am loving these videos below as well.
