Shine bright like a diamond…

Find light in the beautiful sea

I choose to be happy

you and I…

were like diamonds in the sky.

I feel that like in every little thing I do, I need to make sure my surroundings is comfy, cozy and as aesthetically pleasing as much as possible. So I like to diamond paint after getting my nails freshly polished and they look so pretty and I slip into something comfy, soft fluffy socks and go for the most comfortable sitting arrangement in the house. Then I set out all the tools on a folding table in a orderly fashion so that I can move gracefully along in the creation process. So I set everything up on a clean clear table and set the scene with maybe a pretty crystal rock and a scented candle burning nearby along with some amazing relaxing music in the background while sipping on some delicious hot or cold drink.

So when I made my very first small diamond painting it was a partial drill set but it came out so, so lovely and so it was after that initial one that I became hooked. And what I like the most about diamond painting is that you can go about creating your painting over a long period of time, moving as slow as you like.

Diamond painting is such a cute girly girl and pretty crafty thing to do. Almost immediately after creating my first diamond painting I fell so deeply in love with it. I especially adore the beauty and sparkle of the shiny gems and so I save some of the special gems to put on my polished nails.

So here’s a list of the basic tools all of which are optional.

The basic tools are: a diamond painting kit, drill rolling pin, sticky pen, gems storage containers, a light pad, fix tool and some pretty washy tape which is optional because I like to use the washy tape to place around the edges of my diamond paintings once all done since I don’t usually frame mine.
