I’ve been told by certain ones that the antidote for being in a miserable relationship with a bad man is another man.

While this has not been the issue for Sugna (Vibha Anand) and Shyham’s (Vikrant Massey) married life. Sugna was in a miserable predicament of being the widow of her first husband Pratap who unfortunately died on their wedding day and she’d already slept with him before their marriage and was found later to be with child. And so she suffered and was under the profound loneliness, hard persecution, strict rules and guidelines of the living the lifestyle of an Indian widow. But then came Shyham….

He came into her life one day and in time fell so deeply in love with her and from that moment forward he fought with great difficulty for the right to have her in his life as his wife.

Because a widow getting married again was not common and not always allowed. So in this case the antidote for lonely widowhood is LOVE.
