I thought I’d share some really cool short video’s I’ve grown to love by T.D. Jakes…. the topic friendships.
I love it when he says to learn how to kiss some people goodbye and be a 360 thinker. Know who your friends are. Learn how to work with people who come and go in your life. Consider them to be like scaffolding. Scaffolding holds up a building for a time until its completed and then it’s removed right. He says love em when they come and love em when they go. Just don’t get bitter over constituents and comrades, because you must realize that if they leave they were never with you.
If you find a person who will be really happy for you then they are your confidants. Praise God for the people he sent to you, not the ones who left.
Then here he says to avoid people who seek to control and silence your personality. And advises that people exercise their bodies and minds. He says don’t exercise for appearance’s sake but for longevity. And for your mind, you must read, read and read! So these are my favorites.
