Plants & Gratitude

From the moment I wake up until the time I’m back in bed to sleep, I think how grateful I am to see another day and I think about reasons or things I am grateful about.

Well today I felt so grateful for my aloe vera plants because I get to witness little small shoots of new plant life coming up from one of the pots I recently re potted with my husband’s help. He picked up a huge bag of potting soil from the store for me and helped me to put the plant in a much larger pot as this plant has grown so huge. And then within the two months time the shoots are there. And the funny thing is that I have not been feeding this plant with any special plant food or anything other direct sunlight and water. So this is so amazing to me because I don’t have a green thumb.

Anyway I read somewhere that aloe vera plants are supposed to help clean indoor air and about how it’s best to put them in bedrooms at night. So I am so happy and I smile every time I pass by my plants.

And this week I ordered a bunch of new books to read over the next few months and some are on CD so I could listen while in the shower or puttering around the house. The book I plan to crack open first will be “Master of Deceit: J. Edgar Hoover and America in the Age of Lies” by Marc Aronson.

So anyway today is a great gift that I’m going to make it my business to try to enjoy every bit of my day and I wish you’ll all do the same.

Have a very joyous Monday all!

Better Man”

I like to call my self a happy soul, a daydreamer and have a heart of a gypsy. Love to use my imagination. And trying out new things. Life can be so wonderful and enjoyable when I am being positive and releasing.
