The Problem With Reading

Winter graces us with long days,

opportunity for comfort, joy and peacefulness in rest

~~~~~~~~~
WINTER is one amazing part of the earths many cycles. Crying out….telling us to take the time to integrate a slower pace to life. To take more time to rest.
Now that SUMMER’S long gone taking with her all the outdoor gardening, taking nice long walks, sitting on the porch and outdoor dining.
WINTER brings time for sipping slowly on chai or hot cocoa and reading good books. It’s time for taking long winter naps. Getting the chance to wear soft and warm wooly angora gloves, scarfs and thick cozy slippers.
WINTER brings time for long phone chats and watching incredibly long movies (for me a chance to watch some long romantic Hindi movies I love.) LOL!
It’s the season to further enjoy baking comfort foods, having pot lucks, game nights, sipping on hot toddies, warm baths, making love, snuggling up beside a crackling fire at home.
It’s a creative time for making crafts, painting, sewing, crocheting and knitting. But mostly it’s time for hibernating, resting, being loving and kind to yourself and other’s.
Enjoy!
