*Stroking Your Man’s Soul*

Speaking with a soft, calm, soothing and deliberate slow sweet voice is as a soothing balm upon a sometimes tired and weary soul. Or it can be like putting on a simmering warm crock filled with pumpkin spice, cinnamon, nutmeg and sweet vanilla, allowing its amazing fragrance to consume the very air you breathe…

Just take notice how the sweetness in your voice can make your man…. any man…. feel safe whenever he’s in your space and see how much easier it becomes for him to warm up to you and how he won’t mind listening to you as you share all that’s on your mind…. and vice versa….

It’s easy to see the calmness that comes upon the crying whines of a baby at your purring, cooing and soothing voice. Well it has the same effect on another’s soul.

My favorite book carry’s wisdom and knowledge

explaining how un-settling the opposite behaviors can have on any man…. your man’s soul:

…..a quarrelsome wife is as annoying as a leaky roof in a rainstorm.

Proverbs 27:15

….it is better to live on a corner of an attic

than with a contentious, quarrelsome wife in a lovely home.

Proverbs 21:9

So the practice of being calm, soft, warm, sweet, nice, cool and breezy has a wonderful, positive and healing effect on a man…. any man….. your man…. your husband.

Great read! I aspire to be a true proverbs 31 woman speaking life to my husband and not death. I would like to season my words with, grace, humility and some sugar. As God has warned me lately that my mouth has been very destructive to some men in my past. Its a taught and learned behavior. However, I am not married yet but I know that it is Gods will for my life. Thanks so much for this beautiful masterpiece. Check out my blog sometimes!

    • I apreciate your comment, compliments and I’m so happy to know you liked this post. Yes I agree with you and sorry to say but it is a learned issue and a struggle to unlearn. But there is hope… lol! I say as long as the trait becomes recognized then we can do something about it, like improving ourselves if we want to change it to make things better. So yeah, thanks 4 stopping by and I will surely visit your blog too.

  2. Thanks for the pingback! Great article!

  3. What a gentle, loving reminder about the power of the words we speak and HOW we speak them 🙂 Blessings to you
