4. Dr. KHALIL GIBRAN MUHAMMAD
A history professor, director of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture (NY Public library in Harlem) and has participated in the PBS Special Slavery by Another Name. He’s written the book named~ The condemnation of blackness (Race, crime and the making of modern urban America) and he’s the great grandson of Elijah Muhammad. He is a husband and father of three children and part of his main desire, goals and passion is to attract African American youth to learn all about their history.
