You just got to love a man who helps out around the house, right! Especially one who does the things that are traditionally done by the woman of the house. Then an extra plus would be if he did what needed to be done without you having to tell him. Whew….. Weee! Now that’s living the good life.
I remember the day when my sister told me that her husband had automatically cleaned up when he thought a house guest was coming while she was away from the house.
He actually went into clean mode. I was truly amazed.
This man ran the vacuum, mopped the floors, washed the dishes, made up the beds and cleaned the bathrooms all on his own and all in a few hours. AMAZING!
Right away I wanted to know her secret and wanted to ask her how in the world did she get him to do that. Why if I want anything done around the house I always have to ask for it. If I don’t ask it gets left undone. Now don’t get me wrong I am still grateful for any type of house work done by my husband because it takes a load off of me. I tell you the truth because when mama’s happy everybody is happy. But there is just an added benefit when it’s done without having to tell him to do it, if you know what I mean.
I remember watching the Odd Couple when I was growing up and I would say to myself that I could learn to love and appreciate a Felix.
Well I have one brother who can clean and cook his behind off. I mean every thing shines. You’ll need to wear a pair of sunglasses when he’s all done. Well the bad news is he is divorced now. Well I tell you this I want to know what was wrong with that woman! If he were my man I would never break up with him. His ex wife is plain crazy! LOL!
I told this brother that he is always welcome to stay at my house rent free too and I mean free room and board. Because I am no fool! I know a good man when I see one. Ha Ha!
I am waiting for the day that he will decide to make up his mind about it. LOL! One day he is coming here to live with us. I am hopeful. One day I am going to talk him into it. LOL!
Well this weekend my neighbor had her daughters come for a visit and they were out there working hard. I mean they were like a clean gang. They came and washed all the windows and you could see them hanging out the laundry of blankets, sheets, towels and curtains. They cleaned out closets and well they came and did the works. I told my neighbor now send them over here to my house. We both laughed. If she only knew that I was serious as cancer. LOL!
